As well as working as an author and travel writer, for over four years Jessica worked for one of the world’s leading adventure travel companies; guiding a melting pot of nationalities (Australians, New Zealanders, Americans, Canadians, Brits and a smattering of Italian, Dutch, German, Mexican, South African, Japanese, Greek and Brazilian thrown in for good measure) across the Middle East and North Africa. She has led tours in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey. She was instrumental in starting up new tours in Israel, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon and has considerable experience in writing trip itineraries and tour planning as well as leading and guiding trips.
She has a passion for the people and places of this region, for its rich history and convoluted politics. Jessica is available to be hired as a consultant for travel advice, trip planning and itinerary writing and also can be hired as a tour leader for your private group (taking all the hassle of beforehand planning and on-the-road organisation off your hands).
